TotalEnergies (PGE Spain) has 2.6 million B2C customer contracts, 30,000 B2B customer contracts, a power plant with two gas combined cycle units, and is the 4th largest gas and power supplier in Spain.
Operating within a high-volume, low-margin environment, where key responsibilities are crucial to profitability. The market is fast-moving and highly competitive, requiring complex products and services to meet demand. The role involves managing sophisticated contractual positions and volatile markets, necessitating controlled risk-taking within established parameters.
External Relations : Sales channels, partners, external suppliers (consultants, service companies), sector companies (retailers), and companies from other sectors (retail, banking, telecommunications).
- Define the sales strategy in the B2C segment : Analyze internal factors (products, technologies, capacities, resources, services) and external factors (market environment, sector, competition). Define segmentation, bid positioning, and differentiation strategies. Contribute to the B2C commercial business plan (contracts, churn, margins, purchase price, channel mix) for approval by the B2C P&L Director.
- Implement the sales and commercial strategy : Manage customer portfolio and margins, design sales campaigns, and set targets.
- Product and Pricing Development : Collaborate with the Pricing & Analytics Manager to implement and launch new products, identify market opportunities, prioritize new product development, and set final customer pricing.
- Market and Customer Insights : Use market knowledge to develop commercial actions, conduct market studies, and define the customer journey in the sales process.
- Partnerships : Identify and develop partnership opportunities across different sectors.
- Sales Management Strategy : Oversee inbound (CAC, Commercial Offices) and outbound channels (digital, in-person, telemarketing, leads), select suppliers, and define targets.
- Operational and Strategic Oversight : Develop and approve strategies, budgets, policies, and forecasts. Analyze opportunities and threats, coordinate with other units, and represent TotalEnergies in Spain.
Academic and Experience Requirements :
- University higher education
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written), at least B2
- Minimum 10 years in Commercial Management
- Minimum 10 years in team management
- Knowledge of French is advantageous
- Master's or postgraduate degree in business administration, marketing, or related fields is an advantage
