As a Process Engineer Expert in Naval Systems with experience in floaters design, you will join our Department TEAM (Technology based Activities and Methods), which focuses on process design of Utilities and Offsite units within the Energy Carriers business line. Your activities will include:

• Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams and Heat and Material Balances
• Sizing of Equipment and Instrumentation, preparing Process Data sheets and Duty Specifications
• Elaboration of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs), Cause and Effect Charts, Control Narratives, and Logic Sequences
• Development of hydraulic and thermal calculations in steady state and transient operation
• Preparation of Operating Manuals and Test Run procedures
• Participation in multidisciplinary project reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, and best practices

In Saipem, these activities may relate to various sustainable plants and processes supporting the energy transition towards Net Zero. Leveraging your experience in floaters design, you will contribute to Saipem's expertise in Floating Production Structures (FPS), including ideation, design, procurement, fabrication, integration, operation, and maintenance of onshore-equivalent installations (FPSO) for oil and gas production, storage, and transshipment in complex environments.

QUALIFICATIONS : Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Significant experience in process design of naval systems (such as ballast, bilge systems) located within the hull of floating units is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Good command of English, both written and spoken.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent Contract

EXPERIENCE : 10-15 years total, with at least 5-10 years as a process designer of naval systems for floating units.

IT SKILLS : Proficiency in common software relevant to process engineering.
