Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating EHS compliance activities through functional teams, under the guidance of the plant manager and EHS Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing plant-specific policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain EHS programs and records to demonstrate regulatory compliance and adherence to division policies.
Prepare and submit environmental permit requests related to air quality, waste management, water quality, and hazardous materials transportation for approval.
Maintain records required by laws and regulations and prepare compliance reports.
Assist in maintaining environmental and health/safety records.
Build relationships with local and state authorities and internal EHS contacts.
Stay informed of applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Develop and deliver training programs for EHS management system elements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Requirements
Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry standards.
Ability to determine logistics requirements aligned with business goals and strategies.
Financial and analytical skills, including managing business analytics for optimal footprint planning.
Knowledge of international taxes and customs regimes.
Proven success in change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Effective communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and email communication.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental discipline.
3-5 years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
Alternatively, a combination of education, experience, and training.
ISO 14001 lead auditor certification is preferred.
