Offer Description

The INCLIVA Foundation is a Health Research Institute accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute and is part of the public sector of the Generalitat Valenciana. It has private legal personality and is governed by private law.

A position is available for a Research Technician (T3) Level 1, 17T (Senior Technician), in the research group focused on pathophysiology and biomarkers of sepsis, under Dr. José Luís García.

Job Responsibilities

  • Registration and traceability of all samples required by the project.
  • Processing biological samples for analysis of circulating histones and other biomarkers.
  • Cell sorting in blood samples.
  • Analysis of epigenetic biomarkers.
  • Biostatistical analysis.
  • Tasks aligned with a translational research project on epigenetic biomarkers in sepsis and septic shock.

Qualifications and Merits

  • Official Master’s degree related to the duties of the position (10 points per qualification).
  • Knowledge of English: B1 (2 points), B2 (3 points), C1 (4 points), C2 (5 points).
  • Professional experience with organoids (5 points per year, max 30 points).
  • Scientific publications in the field (5 points each, max 30 points).
  • Courses in statistics (R, SPSS, GraphPad Prism) (5 points per course, max 5 points).
  • Disability certificate (≥33%) (10 points).
  • Victim of gender-based violence (10 points).
  • Personal interview (up to 10 points).

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.
  • Physical and mental capabilities for the tasks, verified by a responsible statement.
  • Spanish nationality, work permit, or other legal access to employment in Spain.
  • Minimum age 16, maximum age for retirement or as established by law.
  • No disqualifications preventing public sector employment, verified by a responsible statement.
  • Not previously dismissed for disciplinary reasons from INCLIVA, and have completed any trial period if previously employed.
