Java Developer

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts :

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop the required specifications, through the delivery of services and technical Backend components required for its operation, with a focus on your own development and integration with other teams and systems.
• Document your solutions using the Group Santander tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM, etc.
• Ensure the code quality meets Santander standards.
• Participate in all phases of the Development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with QA and Business Analysts to analyze issues and develop solutions.
• Understand product business requirements and review user stories to identify and address defects early in the development process.
• Engage in Agile development practices, communicating ideas, questions, and concerns openly with the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work collaboratively with product owners, business analysts, developers, and testers to ensure quality in our applications as new features and technologies are introduced.

Key Requirements :

• Experience in backend application programming, preferably in Agile environments.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and/or 11.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Urbancode within a continuous integration workflow.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English; Spanish is a plus.
• A proactive, positive, open, and collaborative attitude toward teamwork.
• Advantageous: Experience in database query development (Oracle).
• Advantageous: Knowledge of financial products.
