We Are Looking for a Fashion Designer with Experience in the Spanish Market!

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to join our team in Barcelona. We seek a professional with in-depth knowledge of the Spanish Textile fashion sector of the Inditex and Mango groups. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing fashionable tailored collection to for the big Spanish textile groups.

It is essential to be working or have worked at one of the Inditex brands or Mango as a women’s designer, mainly in light woven.

Requirements :

1. Background in fashion design with relevant work experience preferred.

2. A deep understanding of the Spanish market, consumer preferences, and fashion trends.

3. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

5. Passion for fashion with an ability to translate global trends into market-specific designs.

6. Ability to deliver designs that align with the customer's brand identity and customer expectations.

7. Previous experience working with major fashion brands, preferably with Inditex and Mango.

8. Knowledge of current trends and ability to develop collections tailored to client needs.

9. Understanding of quality standards and production requirements of major global brands.

10. Ability to work with sustainable and certified factories.

11. Capacity to create customized collections with the right materials, prints, and details for each client.

12. Strong aesthetic sense and product development skills.

13. Experience in tracking and managing textile productions.

14. Availability and flexibility for travel and attending trade fairs.

Responsibilities :

1. Design and develop fashion accessories and sunglasses specifically for the Spanish market.

2. Stay updated on Spanish fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.

3. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align design strategies with market requirements.

4. Create design concepts, trends, sketches, and prototypes for approval.

5. Work closely with our head quarter to ensure the successful samples production of designs.

6. Develop products aligned with current trends and the requirements of leading fashion groups.

7. Work closely with the sales team to strengthen client relationships.

8. Support the strategy for re-entering the Mango market and improving the relationship with Inditex.

9. Collaborate with factories to ensure garments meet the required quality standards.

10. Create innovative and competitive proposals that differentiate us in the industry.

Work Location : Barcelona.
