What's the opportunity

As our Software Engineering Leader, you'll be in charge of leading a software development team and the applications that team owns. Your team will build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will lead a talented software team working on mission-critical applications with big customers like Netflix, Amazon, Nike, Facebook, and more! You will also be involved in developing your team members' careers within the company.

What will I be doing

• Responsible for week-to-week planning of your team and maintaining accountability
• As a tech lead, managing your team members and dedicating time to their development
• Driving technical direction in projects to ensure scalability and robustness
• Getting hands-on with projects, diving into code and architecture
• Hiring for your team
• Communicating and coordinating with other teams

What skills do I need

• Strong hands-on software development experience
• Extensive experience building scalable applications
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like NewRelic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and distributed logs (e.g., ELK)
• Experience with critical applications focusing on performance, scalability, and security
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and relational databases
• Knowledge of AWS and NoSQL (desirable)
• Experience with test-driven development and version control (Git)
• Upper-intermediate English; Spanish is a plus
