As a Full-Stack Engineer...

You’ll be part of our Engagement team, responsible for the full development lifecycle of the client experience, from the core of Barkibu’s strategy to deployment.

The Engagement team handles several key initiatives: (i) our mobile apps, with approximately 2 releases per week; (ii) Bai, our AI assistant supporting millions of conversations; (iii) the Barkibu Card for paying vet bills with Barkibu money; (iv) Customer Care efforts to assist and learn from clients; (v) Donations project turning pet parents into donors for shelters. These are your focus areas.

You have a product mindset. You have experience iterating consumer products with a focus on growth. You’re comfortable owning initiatives, reducing scope when needed, and shipping frequently to learn and improve. You may not have extensive experience with this approach but possess the drive and mindset. You will work closely with engineers, user research, and product teams to influence behavior.

About 50% of your work will involve non-Flutter projects, exposing you to various frameworks and languages. We seek someone curious and interested in impacting people through consumer products.

At many companies, a Full-Stack Engineer focuses solely on coding. At Barkibu, you’ll do much more. You’ll own features from ideation to deployment and wear many hats, including:

- Business Analyst: breaking down user needs and product requirements.

- Project Manager: leading initiatives and managing execution.

- QA Specialist: ensuring high-quality releases.

- DevOps engineer: deploying and maintaining infrastructure for smooth operations.

You're the perfect fit if...

- You have previous experience as a Full Stack Engineer.

- You are fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.

- You thrive in fast-paced environments and manage tasks efficiently.

- You work well across teams and collaborate seamlessly.
