We are currently looking for a Java Development Leader , remotely from Spain, for one of our clients.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex microservices using Java and AWS cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed team of developers in Spain and India.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align them with business goals.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Java developer or solution architect, with a focus on microservices-based systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
• Familiarity with Docker and ECS is advantageous.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs for integration and communication.
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide a remote team.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German and / or Spanish is a plus.
