Investment Analyst

Actyus Private Equity, the alternative investment platform of Andbank Group, is seeking a highly motivated full-time Analyst to join its Investment Team in Madrid, focused on co-investments and secondary private equity transactions.

Full-Time Analyst – Investment Team

As an Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing a diverse range of secondary private equity transactions and co-investments.

These include GP-led transactions, traditional LP interest acquisitions, and direct co-investments alongside leading private equity firms.

The role offers exposure to diverse sectors, geographies (primarily Europe and the U.S.), and complex investment structures within the low and mid market segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and execute secondary private equity and co-investment opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including industry analysis, review of financial statements, and meetings with fund sponsors.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and investment valuations.
• Prepare high-quality investment memorandums and present findings to the Investment Committee.
• Monitor portfolio performance, prepare periodic reports, and support ongoing asset management efforts.
• Interact regularly with fund managers and attend annual meetings of portfolio companies and sponsors.
• Support in market research and pipeline development activities.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law & Business, Engineering, or related fields from a top-tier institution.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, Big Four advisory, or asset management.
• Strong understanding of private equity investment strategies, including leveraged buyouts and secondary market dynamics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling experience is essential.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
