Senior Herdsperson – Regenerative Farming - Dairy Sheep – Spain – Basic Salary Circa €60,000 + Newly Refurbished 3 Bed Farmhouse

The Job :

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Herdsperson or Farm Manager to lead the regeneration of a newly acquired farm in Spain. The successful candidate will develop a pasture-based dairy sheep operation, with 700–1,000 head planned over the next 18–24 months. Responsibilities include establishing herd management protocols, overseeing animal health and welfare, and promoting sustainable, regenerative farming practices. The project will eventually expand to include cheese production facilities, offering additional growth opportunities.

The Candidate :

• Practical experience with livestock – preferably dairy sheep or goats; open to dairy cows or mutton sheep
• Strong knowledge of pasture-based, non-intensive farming systems
• Hands-on experience in herd care, breeding, feeding, health monitoring, and pasture management
• Proactive farm management mindset – capable of planning and building a farm from scratch
• Passionate about sustainable and regenerative agriculture
• Confident working independently and leading as the operation expands
