The mission of this role is to manage stores and monitor cashiers, providing exchange services and ancillary products of the highest standard to all Customers during the time on duty.

This role also involves maintaining stocks of cash and currencies at the branch as directed by line management to protect Company assets.

Responsibilities

  • Store Organization, Controls and Compliance : Organize the branch stock levels and balance the store quickly and without mistakes. Supervise that counter positions are always ready when on duty to serve Customers. Responsible for the store's internal and external appearance and organization. Ensure compliance with Quality Standards (including internal and external appearance and organization of the office). Monitor cashiers' performance. Check daily reports and perform necessary administrative tasks : timetables, store balances. Carry out spot checks on cashiers under dual control. Ensure that the Company established procedures to accomplish regulations, AML, and Security in the Workplace are implemented at all times. Keep cashiers updated on any applicable information.
  • Customer Service : Communicate with Customers and colleagues with speed, accuracy, and tact, ensuring that cashiers also do. Monitor that effective, efficient, and respectful service is offered to Customers at all times, and ensure that the standards of uniformity or correct dress code are followed.
  • Business Orientation : Maximize daily foreign exchange revenues. Monitor store revenues and encourage cashiers to achieve goals. Maximize cross-selling opportunities and supervise that cashiers do it. Monitor competitors' rates. Organize and participate in the “hot spots visits.” Organize and participate in events to promote our brand.

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of the money transfer and FX business.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local language.
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Administrative and accounting skills.
  • Commercially focused.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail operations positions.
  • Experience as a team leader or supervisor is an asset.
