Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / Software Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced financial environment. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining robust, scalable data processing pipelines and services using modern cloud technologies, focusing on Python, Databricks, and Azure. This position is open to candidates located in Spain.

Core Requirements

• Strong foundation in software engineering, testing, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in Python for advanced data processing and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale distributed data processing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of Git for version control.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure for cloud computing environments.
• Proficient in SQL for database queries, transformations, and data integrity.
• Experience with .NET (C#) development.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and big data storage patterns.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Understanding of monitoring and alerting systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Exposure to financial services or regulatory reporting is a strong plus.
