Location: This is a 100% on-site in Rivabellosa, Spain

Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 + bonus. Relocation allowance is available for national and international candidates.

We are seeking experienced Data Centre Technicians to join our team. The Data Centre Technician will work well with others and help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed data center operation service levels. Responsibilities include hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, and participation in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability
  2. Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
  3. Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
  4. Train internal teams
  5. Develop documentation
  6. Provide technical support to data center teams
  7. Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware
  8. Maintain inventory
  9. Assemble and install equipment
  10. Perform maintenance of test and tools equipment
  11. Occasional travel to other data centers as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in assembling, installing, and troubleshooting computer, storage, and network hardware in a data center
  • Experience in installing and maintaining copper and fibre cabling in a data center
  • Data center experience
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Linux Operating System experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues
  • Ability to work in a shift environment, participate in on-call rotation, and provide after-hours support

Education/Experience:

Hands-on or educational experience with:

  • Computer networking
  • Scripting languages such as Python or Bash (desirable)
  • Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS (desirable)
  • An IT-related degree or equivalent experience (desirable)

We prioritize a hybrid work environment. Remote work may be considered for candidates more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements. New hires will attend onboarding at a hub within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly for collaboration.
