Job Summary

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team, working within our agile teams focusing on design, impact analysis, and outcome of our solutions.

Our Solution Architects interface heavily with our Enterprise Architects, protecting outcomes and estimates, and adhering to and contributing to the overall strategy, standards, and guidelines.

They also generate technical interest, creating “buzz” about the latest developments and their applicability in their domain.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure technological performance by design, right-sizing, scalability, and reliability
• Ensure that architectural standards and best practices are followed
• Ensure the Definition of Done is followed at the technical level
• Analyze technical trade-offs
• Contribute to scope definition
• Define non-functional requirements
• Contribute to the Definition of Done
• Guard the services’ security and performance
• Support the team during significant technological changes
• Contribute to defining reference architectures and standards
• Detect weaknesses and failure points within solutions and propose improvements
• Reduce technical debt and promote technological evolution
• Keep technical documentation up to date
• Define technical and functional monitoring
• Negotiate with product leads on prioritization for technological initiatives
• Advocate for new technological features

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software or platform design and E2E architecture solutions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience designing and implementing architectures using various database, cache, and messaging technologies
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Django and React
• Experience with backend technologies in Python and/or Java
• Experience working in hybrid on-premise-cloud environments
• Experience designing high-performance systems
• Knowledge of continuous delivery processes and tools
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
• Technical leadership abilities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and influencing skills
• Team player with an agile mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
• Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
