Senior Information Security Specialist (Freelance, Fluent English)

to join their team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform comprehensive information security risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and quantify risks related to information systems, applications, assets, technical environments, business projects, and third parties.
2. Deliver precise reports to document and communicate assessment results, including security risk identification.
3. Conduct complex compliance assessments internally and externally.
4. Review relevant documentation such as control questionnaires, policies, reports, and security measures.
5. Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders, third-party contacts, and global Information Security teams.
6. Engage with stakeholders to understand business practices and align technical and security requirements.
7. Simplify complex security issues and prioritize tasks based on business impact and risk tolerance.
8. Support governance, compliance, and internal initiatives aligned with best practices.
9. Ensure cybersecurity plans, controls, policies, and procedures align with Sony's Global Information Security Policy (GISP), Global Subjective Specific Policies (GSSP), and overall cybersecurity strategies.

Requirements:

• 8-10+ years of experience in Information Security.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT, risk management, governance, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of ISMS and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong service ethic and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English.
