ESG business consultant

We're looking for someone to join a financial and non-financial rating agency specialized in SMEs and mid-caps. It's mission is to democratize access to ratings for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as mid-sized companies in order to allow them to diversify their sources of financing and promote their development.

The ESG Consultant is responsible for the planning and implementation of the company's sustainability, domestic, and international ESG disclosure for the planning and implementation of the ESG's business development department.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions / best practices.
• Design of the product roadmap channels and go to market strategy in ESG (very important).
• Collaborates with business units to identify and implement sustainability programs.
• Performs deep technical research and analysis on Sustainability / ESG solutions as inputs to sustainability programs and projects.
• May lead projects.
• Influences the development, implementation, and administration of Sustainability / ESG programs to clearly, consistently, and transparently support the achievement of objectives.
• Supports external reporting and disclosures regarding the company`s sustainability programs and performance through the annual ESG report and disclosures.
• Represents the company at internal and external forums focused on environmental sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have the following :

• Advanced Spanish and Englishlanguages (valuable French).
• Bachelor`s degree (preferably in Sustainability / ESG or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree preferred and relevant experience.
• In depth expertise on global sustainability trends and sustainability standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders.
• Strong organizational and project planning skills with a proven track record of cross-functional implementation.
• Solves complex problems : takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Works independently.
• Subject matter expert on sustainability and experience designing and implementing solutions for complex ESG issues.
