NTU International - Proposal Writer Position

Main Responsibilities

1. Research and analyze information to understand the technicalities, context, and specific requirements of each project.
2. Develop proposal offers for tenders and framework contracts from international donors such as the EU, EIB, World Bank, ADB, AfDB, GIZ, and others, ensuring accuracy, clarity, readability, and consistency.
3. Coordinate with consortium partners and associates during the tender preparation process.
4. Conduct quality control and provide constructive feedback on proposals prepared by team members to ensure high-quality submissions.
5. Backstop and perform quality control on reports developed by experts across various projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Master's degree in Social Sciences (e.g., Economics, Business Administration) or a technical background as an engineer with a holistic economic understanding.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in writing proposals for international donors such as the EU, EIB, World Bank, ADB, AfDB, GIZ, etc.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French, with exceptional writing skills. Proficiency in Spanish is a strong asset.
• Ability to understand complex situations and documentation, transforming large volumes of material into clear written components and figures.
• Quick learner with critical thinking skills, capable of making independent, context-appropriate decisions.
• Strong teamworking, communication skills, and independent drive with an eye for detail.
• Structured, organized, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of sectors such as transport, infrastructure, environment, energy, migration, healthcare, and promotion is advantageous but not mandatory.

Language Skills

• Fluency in spoken and written English (C1 level or higher).
• Fluency in spoken and written French (C1 level or higher).
• Proficiency in Spanish is a strong asset.
