Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Onsite Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and IT assistance to end users. This role requires strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Provide on-site support for users, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, and peripherals.
  4. Ensure deployment of operating systems, updates, and software packages.
  5. Collaborate with the IT team to resolve and escalate issues as needed.
  6. Perform routine maintenance and ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.
  7. Provide end-user training and technical documentation as necessary.
  8. Manage support tickets and collaborate with team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience in Desktop Support or similar roles.
  • Strong experience with Mac OS and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory for user management, group policies, and security.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting techniques and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and productivity software.
  • Expertise in hardware diagnostics, repair, and replacements.
  • Knowledge of system imaging and software deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Must Have Skills :

  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, MCDST or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices.
