Sales Development Representative - (Italian Market)

Refinery89 is searching for a passionate and driven Sales Executive to spearhead our growth in Italian markets. If you're motivated by challenges, love the thrill of closing deals, and want to shape the future of online media, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Acquire Italian publishers, from prospecting to closing.
  • Build a healthy pipeline and prioritize high-value opportunities.
  • Lead publisher acquisition efforts in Italy by collaborating closely with sales and operational teams.
  • Become a trusted contact for your publishers, developing strong, mutually beneficial relationships that foster loyalty both short-term and long-term.
  • Maintain our CRM tool by updating leads and client interactions daily.
  • Engage in networking activities.

Who We're Looking For:

  • An enthusiastic sales professional who thrives on meeting and exceeding goals, and enjoys the excitement of closing deals and earning bonuses.
  • A competitive individual aiming to be the top performer each month.
  • Motivated by challenges and eager to meet monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  • Native Italian speaker fluent in English for effective communication with diverse clients and teams.
  • A detail-oriented person with a commercial mindset, capable of turning conversations into positive outcomes.
  • An independent innovator who can work autonomously, adapt quickly to a fast-paced startup environment, and translate technical features into compelling business benefits.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of sales experience, especially in cold calling, face-to-face meetings, online meetings, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Good understanding of digital media metrics, web analytics, digital advertising formats, and technologies.
  • Established contacts within the Italian digital publishing media (a plus).
  • Experience in roles at Publisher Sales Houses, Trading Desks, Customer Service, digital agencies, or AdTech companies is preferred, with particular value placed on AdTech experience.
