Are you a superstar product marketer looking for your next big challenge? Well, we have just the job for you…

Sitting at the intersection of our Product and Commercial teams, Product Marketing at Pleo gets to work on some of the most exciting parts of the entire business, from customer and market understanding to creating epic product launches and driving both business value and customer love. This exciting role sits with our product-led growth teams, with end-to-end accountability to transform our approach to acquisition, retention, expansion, and drives monetisation across the customer lifecycle. Product Led Growth sits at the core of our distribution vision, and you will help make it a reality, working within a truly cross-functional business unit, in close collaboration with teams across product, sales, design, customer success, marketing, and compliance.

Keep on reading if you’re looking for a high-impact role, working with customer-obsessed and (we like to think) extremely friendly teams that are building the next generation of spend management optimisation products.

You’ll thrive in this role if…

  • You have at least 5 years of product marketing experience.
  • You leave no stone unturned when it comes to conducting market, competitor, and customer research to gather insights and assess market opportunities.
  • You’re experienced in creating value propositions, messaging, and impactful product collateral.
  • You work customer insights and data-based and are familiar with tools to synthesize product, customer, and market data.
  • You’ve led product and feature launches from conception phase to announcement and adoption.
  • Bonus points if you have a track record from driving product-led growth and / or commercial roles.
  • You are curious, technologically savvy, and not afraid of getting hands-on in the details. You want to know how things work!
  • You know how to design an experiment and measure what matters.
  • You’re a strong communicator, be it writing copy for marketing collateral or presenting to the rest of the business.

Things you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute strategies to convert leads into paying customers and grow existing users.
  • Partner with user research and business intelligence and become a customer journey understanding expert.
  • Partner and become a conduit between Product and the Commercial teams (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing) at Pleo, ensuring departments are aligned and working towards the same goals.
  • Collaborate with commercial and product stakeholders to evolve pricing and self-service monetization.
  • Identify, test, and verify the value of new opportunities.
  • Oversee the process for creating product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonates with our buying audience.
  • Create clear, compelling product value communication across all touchpoints.
  • Build in-product and onboarding communications.

Show me the benefits!

  • Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!).
  • Lunch is on us - with catering in our Lisbon, Copenhagen, and London offices or a monthly lunch allowance paid directly together with your salary in other markets.
  • Private health insurance to ensure you’re fit in body and mind to do your best work.

  • For our Product Marketing Team, we offer a hybrid model (two days in the office per week).

Working at Pleo means you're working on something very exciting : the future of work. Our mission is to help every company go beyond the books. Pleo itself means ‘more than you’d expect’, and it’s been the secret to our success over the last 8 years. So it’s only fitting that we’d pass this philosophy onto our customers to help them make the most of their finances.

We think company spending should be delegated to all employees and teams, that it should be as automated as possible, and that it should drive a culture of responsible spending. Finance teams shouldn’t be siloed from the rest of the organisation – they should work in unity with marketing, sales, IT, and everyone else.

Speaking of working in unity, our values tell the story of how we work at Pleo. We have four core values, the first of which is ‘champion the customer’, which means we address real pain points that businesses face. Next up is ‘succeed as a team’, which highlights how our strength lies in our diversity and trust in each other. We also ‘make it happen’ by taking bold decisions and following through to deliver results. Last but not least, we ‘build to scale’, creating lasting solutions that address today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s needs.

So, in a nutshell, that's Pleo. Today we are an 850+ team, from over 100 nations, sitting in our Copenhagen HQ, London, Stockholm, Berlin, Madrid, Montreal, and Lisbon offices —and quite a few full-time remotes in 35 other countries! Being HQ'd out of Copenhagen means we're inspired by things like a good work-life balance. If you don't work in the office with us, we'll help you set up the best remote setup possible and make sure you still have time to connect with your team.

The challenge

The team interview

Expect to share a (virtual) meeting room with two to three people you'll work with regularly if you get the job.

The final interview

A call with someone in leadership who’ll walk you through the big picture and chat about how your role will figure into that.
