Technical Product Manager (m / f / d) - Animal Nutrition

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The function of our unit ENN / ED is to understand driving technologies and market needs in the animal feed enzyme industry to foster innovation. They are responsible for developing new products, technical marketing, and application, ensuring products meet market demands.

1. Define and implement product positioning within the animal nutrition segment, including setting and adjusting product specifications. Participate in creating industry and product strategies, project work, concepts, and services.
2. Identify customer needs, especially regarding feed enzyme applications, and translate these into value-driven solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing technical insights and support.
3. Provide technical assistance to customers, address queries, troubleshoot product issues, and collaborate with regional teams. Create and maintain technical datasheets, manuals, and relevant documentation.
4. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, collaborating with R&D to develop or improve feed enzyme products and services.
5. Ensure all products meet regulatory standards, maintain documentation, and support quality assurance to uphold product quality and compliance.
6. Develop and deliver training programs for sales teams and customers on feed enzyme technologies. Communicate scientific findings through conference presentations and publications.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• PhD in animal nutrition, animal science, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the animal feed industry
• Strong knowledge of feed enzyme application and feed formulation, including matrix values and ingredients, and ability to apply this knowledge to product development
• Proficiency in interpreting scientific data
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Proficiency in English; basic German skills are a plus
