Job in Germany : IAM Engineer (m / w / d) - Identity Access Management Engineer

The Role, Team & Responsibilities :

The ClickHouse DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining the ClickHouse-based data warehouses used in Infovista's cloud-native assurance products. This includes tasks such as:

1. Installing and configuring the database software.
2. Optimizing for efficiency.
3. Troubleshooting potential issues.
4. Capacity planning and system dimensioning.
5. Upgrades and resiliency strategies.
6. Collaborating with developers to design and implement efficient database solutions.

Required Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience as a DB Administrator on distributed clusters.
• Experience with database management and performance optimization, including:
• Benchmarking and performance testing.
• Sizing and capacity planning.
• Troubleshooting and resolving performance-related issues.
• Optimizing database configuration for high-performance workloads.
• Strong background and field experience with ClickHouse.
• Good understanding of I/O, networking, and troubleshooting on Linux.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, Prometheus / Grafana, Keycloak, etc.).
• Nice to Have :
• DevOps experience, including CI/CD and test automation.
• Go lang and Java development experience.
• Experience with public cloud deployments (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with private cloud deployments (VMware, OpenStack, OpenShift).
