Offer Description

To initiate the selection process for the recruitment of 1 researcher with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in research, in accordance with the criteria, requirements, and selection system established in the attached Annex.

Experience in characterisation of genetically modified mouse models that reproduce the characteristics of human acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. The candidate should be able to characterise these models using molecular biology techniques (DNA and RNA isolation, Southern blot, PCR, etc.), cellular techniques (culture of different cell types), immunology (flow cytometry), and physiopathology (staining, etc.), focusing on the phenotype of these mice and their genetic relationships.

Specific Requirements

  • Be a Spanish national, a national of a member country of the European Union, or a foreigner with a residence and work permit in Spain.
  • Possess at least a degree in Biomedicine with a master's degree in Advanced Biotechnology in New Therapies.

Additional Information

  • Type of contract: Indefinite-term contract (art.23 bis of law 14/2011 LCTI).
  • Full-time: 35 hours/week.
  • Financial remuneration: 2,303.78 euros gross per month, including the proportional part of two extraordinary payments.
  • Research project: AC24/00021 - Deciphering epigenetic biomarkers to identify at-risk preleukaemic carriers.
  • Work centre: Cancer Research Centre

  • Curricular assessment of merits and abilities (0-27 points), including experience with stem cells, organoids, cell therapies, rare diseases, etc.
  • Scale of CV and professional experience (0-25)
  • Degree of disability (0-2)

Selection Process

The process will be governed by principles of publicity, equality, merit, and capacity, with a selection committee comprising representatives of the research group and the IBSAL Technical Management Unit. It consists of two phases: curricular evaluation and personal interview for the top candidates.
