Maintenance Worker

Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a Project Engineer Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing new projects: economic estimation, purchasing management, industrial contracting, creating plans and diagrams in CAD, and conducting economic studies.
  • Planning and supervising the installation of industrial facilities: overseeing contractors and installers, managing material supplies, and ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Performing start-up procedures for new facilities: reviewing documentation, coordinating with suppliers for testing, and executing start-up protocols.
  • Managing the entire project lifecycle: from planning to execution and evaluation.
  • Legalization of equipment: ensuring compliance and proper documentation for legal approval.
  • Coordinating with specialized inspection and control companies approved by authorities.
  • Qualifying facilities: ensuring all documentation for as-built conditions is complete and accurate.

First Client Project Assignment:

  • 100% onsite
  • Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of a permanent contract)

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (preferably in Chemistry)
  • Experience: Over 4 years in design, installation, start-up, and maintenance of facilities in the chemical industry or similar sectors
  • Languages: Fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan (at least B2 level), both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
