Position: Insight Data Engineer - Autonomous Procurement

As an Insight Data Engineer specializing in AWS QuickSight, you will join our product team to further develop our application that automates the assignment of transport to specific logistic partners.

1. Handle the development and maintenance of an advanced middle layer and data pipeline, optimized for analytics and business intelligence (BI) in our AWS RDS-hosted PostgreSQL database environment.
2. Assume full ownership of our BI environment, implementing data governance and quality standards to maintain data integrity and security.
3. Build and manage database schemas to meet analytics and BI requirements.
4. Focus on automation to facilitate the efficient use of Amazon QuickSight for analytics and BI.
5. Collaborate with solution consultants and product management to design and implement QuickSight analyses and dashboards that provide actionable insights.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in data engineering, especially with Amazon QuickSight for analytics and BI solutions.
• Expertise in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases within an AWS RDS environment.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build data pipelines and schemas tailored for BI and analytics.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, security practices, and compliance standards.
