The Skilled Operator supports and executes operational activities and processes according to established specifications and (quality, safety, and environment) guidelines to meet production and operational targets for the assigned area.

This role represents the basic level of operator, performing fundamental operational processes in production. The operator operates equipment and machinery requiring proficiency, acquired through on-the-job and specialized training.

Knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools is essential to perform duties effectively, requiring experience and skill development over time.

The activities involve a significant portion of (semi) routine work, which can be performed based on training, experience, and assistance from Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisors, Team Leaders, or others when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute operational activities such as discharge, load, transport, cleaning, labeling, and equipment operation to ensure safe, effective, and efficient production processes.

Maintenance & Repair Tasks:

  1. Inspect equipment periodically and perform minor maintenance tasks, reporting defects and deficiencies.
  2. Conduct minor repairs if applicable and appropriate.

Reporting:

  1. Record data and information related to production orders and activities in logbooks or systems for comprehensive administration and monitoring of production progress.
  2. Identify deviations in processes, techniques, or systems and report opportunities for improvement to supervisors to optimize operational procedures, tools, and systems.

Safety & Compliance:

  1. Adhere to all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards, promoting SHEQ awareness and reporting hazards or unsafe situations.
  2. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring no hazardous conditions and proper appearance of work areas and production sites.
