A company specialized in the design and manufacturing technological solutions for the packaging sector. Part of a multinational group, with a committed and dynamic team, we are now seeking to incorporate a Finance Director who will drive the financial transformation of the company and contribute to the structured growth of our business.

Mission of the Role :

The Finance Director will be the top executive responsible for the financial, accounting, and administrative areas of the company. The role includes leading financial planning, management control, and the implementation of effective reporting tools. During the initial phase, the Finance Director will also be responsible for deploying SAP from the financial perspective, ensuring alignment with the standards of the Group.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Report to the Managing Director, acting as his / her sparring partner.
  • Functional report to the Group Controlling in the Holding.
  • Lead the financial management of Intecma : accounting, treasury, taxation, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Implement and drive the SAP system as a financial and operational management tool.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Executive Board and the Group beyond management of Budget, forecasts and multi-annual planning processing, based on transparency and key figures.
  • Design and implement internal control procedures and financial reporting processes beyond daily activity of checking the status of the order intake and sales, warehouse analysis, industrial accounting.
  • Management of job order productions based on the POC evaluation method, throughout a good application of project controlling features / tools.
  • Cost Center management, drivers for Overhead allocation, hourly rate calculation and variances analysis, monitoring of cash flows.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Coordinate the administrative team and support their professional development.
  • Ensure the proper planning and tracking of the company’s financial KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Management team in strategic decision-making.

Profile Requirements :

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
  • 10 years’ experience as Finance Director, CFO or Senior Controller in an industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in SAP implementation and daily use is a preferrable skill.
  • Confidence in creating balance sheets according to IFRS Accounting Principles and Local (Spanish) Gaap Principles.
  • High level of English, capable of leading meetings and preparing detailed financial reports.
  • Sound knowledge of fiscal regulations, analytical accounting, treasury, and cash flow management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent soft skills : approachable, communicative, with the ability to lead, motivate, and build strong teams.
  • High level of engagement, autonomy, and results orientation.
  • Strong interfacing skills, as well as assertiveness and confidence to give presentations effectively in both internal and external settings.
