Weekly Dedication: Full-time (35 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Gross Annual Remuneration: €24,937.36

Project Title: R&D&I Laboratory in Cybersecurity, Privacy and Secure Communications

Duration: 4 months, extendable depending on budget, not exceeding project end date

Start Date: Immediate

Tasks:

  • Plan and execute open source collection campaigns
  • Design and perform on-premise and cloud penetration tests
  • Emulate adversaries based on MITRE ATT&CK
  • Deploy honeypots and deception grids
  • Develop scripts for scraping, exploitation, analysis, and reporting
  • Threat modelling, IoT hardware and firmware risk analysis
  • Zero-Trust architecture creation, traffic monitoring, device identity management
  • Prepare reports, present findings, collaborate with teams for legal and ethical compliance
  • Document processes, participate in research, continuous learning
  • Adapt to emerging areas, participate in outreach activities

Place of Work: ELDI Building, Laboratory 03-10

Telework: Yes, one day/week possible

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Academic qualifications: academic record, preferred degrees, official qualifications (10%)
  • Training courses in cybersecurity valued (15%)
  • Professional experience in cybersecurity valued (30%)
  • English language knowledge valued (5%)
  • Personal interview to assess technical skills in OSINT, ethical hacking/MITRE, deception systems, IoT security, legal and ethical frameworks, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, time management, proactivity, adaptability (40%)
