We are seeking an OT Applications Manager who will develop and execute strategies to optimize the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of these systems to ensure alignment with business goals, security, enterprise architecture (EA) policies, standards, and best practices. The Manager will collaborate with IT and OT teams to execute projects that enhance processes, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage. A comprehensive understanding of both IT and OT systems, along with knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Define the EA and Governance Framework to streamline architecture and establish standards.
• Align roles and responsibilities between OT, IT, and external service providers for stability and support.
• Foster collaboration between IT and OT teams, acting as a key intermediary.
• Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their impact on IT / OT convergence strategy.
• Evaluate existing systems’ security, effectiveness, and resiliency; develop improvement strategies.
• Participate in proof-of-concept efforts and evaluate new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure security, resiliency, and scalability of converged IT / OT systems; oversee project planning, design, and implementation.
• Develop OT change control, security policies (aligned with security team), procurement practices, and audit requirements.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful project implementation.

Requirements :

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices such as NIST 800-82, CPWE, and ISA / IEC 62443.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems (ICS, MES, QCS, data historian, process tech, analytics) in high-availability environments.
• Preferred technical experience with OT systems, processes, and technologies.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience delivering compliant and qualified IT and OT systems in controlled manufacturing and supply chain environments.
• Deep understanding of Operational Technology.
• Knowledge of regulations related to computer systems validation.
• Strong negotiation skills externally and internally.
• Proactive troubleshooting and issue anticipation skills.
• Effective teaching and change management abilities to drive and manage change.
• Strong team leadership skills.
