Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our backend team and help scale our Laravel-based platform. You will work on technical challenges including large-scale data processing, search optimization, and real-time synchronization systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our Laravel REST API for mobile and web interfaces
• Optimize search architecture using MySQL and Algolia for sub-second performance
• Build queue systems for processing over 200,000 daily product updates
• Implement and maintain Shopify integrations
• Design scalable database solutions for high-volume data
• Contribute to AI-powered product categorization features
• Develop push notifications for mobile apps
• Support multi-language platform functionalities (English/Spanish)

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
• Strong expertise in Laravel framework
• Experience with Algolia or similar search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr)
• Solid MySQL database design and optimization skills
• Experience with queue systems (Redis, Laravel Queues, RabbitMQ)
• Proficiency in REST API development
• Experience with large-scale data processing and synchronization
• Knowledge of caching strategies and performance optimization
• Git version control experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Push notification implementation (Firebase, APNs)
• AI/ML integration experience
• Multi-tenant architecture knowledge
• E-commerce platform development experience
• Real-time inventory management systems
• Database indexing and query optimization
• Role-based CMS development experience
