Field Engineering Program - Technical Field Advisor - Aeroderivative Gas Turbines Remote, Spain

As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling energy infrastructure operators to provide reliable and affordable energy.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You will begin by enrolling in FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP). During the FEP, you will develop technical expertise, lean thinking, and leadership skills through in-person and online training, as well as on-the-job learning from experienced Technical Field Advisors.

You will gain hands-on experience and grow your career while traveling to provide power to communities. Upon successful completion of the FEP, you will be eligible for a Technical Field Advisor position working on Aeroderivative Gas Turbines.

As a Technical Field Advisor, you will manage site activities to ensure scope completion according to contractual requirements, executing tasks directly or directing resources.

How You Will Make a Difference :

• Providing on-site technical direction during start-up, commissioning, and maintenance on customer power generation and industrial facilities.
• Guiding installation, routine maintenance, repair, and rebuild activities for equipment of various sizes and applications.
• Preparing job-planning documents as needed.
• Contributing to Daily Outage and Weekly Installation Reports accurately and clearly.
• Communicating schedules, milestones, resource needs, quality issues, and tools to stakeholders.
• Leading and providing technical guidance to skilled laborers to meet customer requirements.
• Implementing quality control standards for repair and modification work.
• Maintaining a safety-focused approach to ensure work complies with safety standards.
• Preparing technical reports for customer records and future reference.
• Possessing the technical capacity to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on various equipment vintages.
• Performing work at customer locations worldwide, with possible extensive travel.

Special Role Requirements :

• Willingness to travel extensively for projects and field assignments.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Ability to spend significant time away from home for training and assignments.

You should be fluent in English, with strong technical skills and a passion for engineering. Additional qualities include :

• A positive attitude and effective communication skills with internal and external customers.

A formal engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) is preferred but not mandatory; we value your overall experience and achievements.
