Offer Description

Mission: Research support in fire risk analysis.

Functions to be developed:

  1. Carry out risk analysis in industrial environments.
  2. Analyze risk in urban-forest and industrial-forest interface environments.
  3. Study the effects and consequences of fires.
  4. Manage software: FDS (FDS Level Set), Pyrosim, Pathfinder, QGIS, Farsite / FlamMap, Python.

Specific Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • Knowledge of forest fire behavior.
  • Fire and evacuation simulation skills.
  • Complementary training in fire safety, process safety, maintenance, and reliability is valued.

Professional Experience:

  • Process safety engineering: HAZOP, Failure Mode Analysis, reliability.
  • Experience in similar functions, especially in research development within university and industrial environments, is valued.

Language: Catalan, Basic Level
