Junior Data Analyst

Role

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be part of the Analytics team at EXOGROUP, a highly skilled department with diverse responsibilities.

In collaboration with the Director of Analytics & Data Science and the Analytics team, you will develop and maintain data reports that provide critical business insights on revenue and profit trends by product, market, vertical, and traffic sources. You will also work with IT and Product teams to identify potential platform improvements through data analysis and algorithm design.

Tasks

1. Structure large volumes of information, identify data-driven trends, and understand the underlying factors.
2. Collect KPIs and design/define visualizations.
3. Deliver insights and analytics to support company operations and advertising departments.
4. Identify and escalate issues and opportunities proactively to mitigate impact and enhance financial and performance outcomes.
5. Develop and maintain internal applications and dashboards.
6. Work with the Analytics team to develop and promote actionable insights for increasing company profitability.

Skills

1. A passion for data and a highly analytical mindset.
2. Degree in computer science or mathematical sciences.
3. Ability to manage and prioritize workload, taking ownership of tasks.
4. Comfort with retrieving, cleaning, and processing data from various sources and formats; understanding of web application basics.
5. Programming experience in Python.
6. Familiarity with SQL and Git.
7. Experience with advanced statistical methods and datasets is a plus.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Adaptability and agility to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
