We are looking for you to join our IT team as soon as possible as :

IT administrator (m / f / d) 2nd level support How you make the city here :

  • First point of contact for complex IT problems in 2nd level support and close cooperation with 1st level support
  • Analyzing faults, identifying their causes and developing sustainable solutions
  • Documentation of troubleshooting and coordination
  • Support and optimization of specialist applications and organization of smooth operation
  • Installation, configuration and updating of Microsoft Windows standard and specialist applications in the client and server environment
  • Planning, testing and supporting the roll-out of specialist applications, including software updates and client deployments
  • Close collaboration with the specialist departments and IT teams to ensure a smooth implementation
  • Creation and maintenance of practical documentation, instructions and knowledge base articles for 1st level support
  • Support in the planning and implementation of IT projects

What makes you special :

  • A Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Administration Management, a degree / university degree in the field of IT or relevant completed IT training with several years of professional experience in the area of responsibility
  • Several years of experience in IT support, ideally in 2nd level support for specialist applications
  • Confident handling of MS Office products and experience with ticket and remote management systems
  • Basic knowledge of Windows client-server architecture, Active Directory (user management, group policies) and a basic understanding of network infrastructures
  • Experience with municipal specialist applications or administration systems (e.g., SAP, document management or GIS systems) is an advantage
  • Ideally knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
  • You work in an analytical, structured and solution-oriented manner
  • You have a confident manner and are service-oriented; you also have a strong understanding of public administration processes
  • You are a team player (m / f / d), maintain an overview even under pressure and are open to new technologies
  • Self-initiative and a willingness to continuously develop your skills
  • If the personal requirements are met, a permanent position up to pay group 10 TVöD-V or pay group A 11 LBesGBW
