Louis Vuitton is seeking a Financial Controller Assistant for the Mediterranean region.

The Financial Controller oversees Financial Planning and Analysis, as well as Internal Control / Financial Operations within the entire Mediterranean zone (Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, Israel, Turkey, and Kazakhstan).

The Financial Controller is a key business partner for the region, part of the regional finance team based in Madrid Head Office, reporting to the Regional Head of Controlling.

In a fast-growing environment with strong retail development, the Financial Controller supports retail teams, regional business departments, and regional management.

He supports regional business through various finance activities, providing quality reports, financial analysis, and operational support to the Mediterranean Region, Paris EMEA Zone, and Central teams.

The Financial Controller travels regularly within the region for store operations reviews, internal control reinforcement, and financial operations assurance. Some travel to Paris for collaboration with Central and EMEA teams also occurs.

Overall Mission

We are looking for a curious and proactive Assistant Financial Controller to join the Finance Department at Madrid Head Office, supporting the retail network of the Mediterranean Region.

The successful candidate will be part of the Finance Team, collaborating with stakeholders across Stores, Head Office, and Shared Service Center in a dynamic environment.

Main responsibilities include :

  • Assisting in weekly and monthly sales reporting, including detailed analysis of net sales by store, clientele, and product.
  • Following up on specific product launches and store projects.
  • Analyzing main competitors.

Financial analysis

  • Supporting Business Reviews presentations, KPI management, and analysis.
  • Participating in monthly closing and budget phases.
  • Monitoring operational costs per department and store.
  • Creating and managing purchase order flows for the Mediterranean retail network.

Internal Control & Administrative

  • Participating in operational reviews and monthly internal control analyses.
  • Supporting stakeholders in using SAP and Concur systems.
  • Following up on supplier payments.
  • Ensuring a smooth purchasing process aligned with LV standards and budget.

Additional responsibilities will be assigned once the candidate is fully autonomous.

Profile

  • Highly organized and rigorous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret figures.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills.
  • Trustworthy and with integrity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
  • Good communication skills and team connectivity.
  • Proficiency in English; conversational Spanish; French is a plus.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or Finance from a Business School or University.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Finance department in a similar role.
  • Recent university or master's graduates (within the last 3 years), with only internships or similar experience post-graduation.
