Remote Senior Software Engineer (Java)

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to contribute to a project with one of our global clients, a leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts.

This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
2. Ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software as part of the DevOps model "you build it, you own it, and you run it".
3. Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
4. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including QA and peer reviews.

Qualifications:

• Strong Java programming skills and experience building APIs.
• Deep understanding of all stages of the SDLC.
• Experience with various testing types: Unit Testing, API Testing, Acceptance Testing, Load Testing.
• Knowledge of AWS services (desired for mid-level profiles, not mandatory).
• Experience with Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
• Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
