Work location: Castell de Torre Baró (Barcelona)

Type of contract offered: Permanent contract

Working hours and schedule:

  • Start date: June 5th
  • Part-time schedule
  • Rotating shifts including weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Attend and inform visitors about the facilities, available services, and scheduled activities.
  • Lead guided visits, adapting the discourse to different audiences.
  • Develop educational activities and support the creation of new pedagogical materials and content.
  • Assist in organizing cultural activities, both in preparation and execution.
  • Collaborate with local entities to establish synergies and promote joint projects.
  • Collect activity indicators to facilitate evaluation and improvement of programs.
  • Manage social media dissemination to promote activities and increase visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Higher Degree in Safety and Environment or similar (Environmental Sciences, etc.)
  • At least 1 year of experience in environmental education and/or communication for sustainability
  • Languages: good level of Catalan, Spanish, and B2 level in English is valued
  • Negative criminal record certificate for sexual offenses

Skills and competencies:

  • Teamwork and coordination skills
  • Ability to engage with diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in data collection applications on tablets (digital skills)
  • Good presence, friendliness, politeness, ease of contact, cordiality, and efficiency
