THE ROLE
This role will be a critical middle level role, acting as a support function to a senior member of the Construction & Procurement Team. Based in either Spain or Italy, the role will support both Construction and Procurement functions in bringing projects from early stage Development (concept) to the eventual stage of Contract negotiations with main EPC Contractors and subsequently overseeing project execution and management for the Project Delivery Team and Technical Advisor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support with the management and execution of Project Construction pipeline throughout the Europe (focusing on Iberia and Italy), LATAM and North America regions,
· Provide support to senior members of the Team whilst managing the Project delivery pipeline.
· Manage, with insight and support from senior management, external Contractor and associated stakeholders.
· Coordinate the work of the Technical Advisor, ensuring alignment across project stages and effective technical oversight.
· Lead the weekly monitoring meetings with the different Contractors to ensure progress tracking, issue resolution, and timely decision-making.
· Provide co-ordination and support for critical workstream and information workflow between internal and external stakeholders.
· Work with Investment Management, Construction and Procurement Teams to deliver overall business objectives which is to deliver stainable, risk adjusted returns for our investors and key stakeholders, whilst maintain and upholding the Groups core values.
· **Collaborate with Group level Teams to support the delivery of Projects from initial Development concept – through our development company Starlight, to eventually on-boarding Projects with our Asset Management – Wise.
· Provide expertise and knowledge to enable the delivery of the early stage project development, working with both internal and external Development partners.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
· Time management & prioritization skills - things can get a little hectic, so the ability to effectively manage yourself and your workload is critical
· Excellent communication skills (in English or/and other European languages) - you must be able to organize your thoughts in a way that others find clear and compelling. You will be expected to
together well-written, grammatically correct emails and other communications. When communicating verbally – whether over the phone, on video calls, in person or meetings – you will need to be articulate, warm and engaging.
· Flexibility - being an effective team player means being flexible in your approach and open to getting involved with new things, even if they are not spelt out in your job description.
· Intellectual Curiosity – we are looking for someone who is truly interested in our profession and has the intellectual curiosity to delve deep into topics and bring fresh ideas to the team.
· IT Literacy - you should have an interest in technology, including AI and show the aptitude to bring this into your role and the projects you are accountable for delivering. You do not need to be a technologist yourself but you must be technically literate and curious about the possibilities that technology
· Delivery focus – it may sound obvious, but the ability to proactively churn through work at pace and deliver quality outputs matters
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· The ideal candidate will have gained some experience, perhaps in their first role post university working within an Investment, Development and/or Contracting environment as part of the Commercial or Project Team as a junior member of the Team, having gained experience, and now ready to advance their career to that next step.
· Exposure to Commercial level negotiations with external stakeholder and internal partner.
· Ability to co-ordinate numerous individuals and workstreams and to priortise critical topics.
· Experience within a similar Investment organization would be highly beneficial, however, we regard experience gained within an EPC, Developer or indeed a more traditional Contracting environment (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil Engineering) as being transferable to this role.
· 2-3 years of experience in similar role i.e. Project Management, Commercial Management, Investment/ Asset Management
