Viking Assistance Group - Registered Nurse Position

Viking Assistance Group is a leading roadside and travel assistance company in the Nordics. Our new business area, Viking Travel Care, provides travel- and medical assistance 24/7, 365 days a year for travelers and employees stationed abroad, anywhere in the world.

We are expanding and establishing our own medical team for assistance services. We are seeking Registered Nurses to strengthen our medical case handling for Nordic customers.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls and emails, case registration, case handling, and assistance coordination
• Medical screening/triage and escalating complex cases to contact doctors
• Communicating with patients, relatives, clinics, and hospitals, including obtaining medical reports
• Assessing medical reports and journals to determine coverage and treatment needs
• Providing medical advice to customers when relevant
• Training and supporting Assistance Coordinators in medical issues

Qualifications

• EU-recognized nursing certification and license
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in insurance or travel industry is an advantage
• Fluent in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish (written and spoken)
• Proficient in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus
• Experience in training and coaching colleagues is an advantage
• A clean criminal record is required

Workplace

The position is based at Viking Travel Care in Torrevieja or Fuengirola, Spain.

Working Hours

The role involves rotating day and evening shifts. Additional hours may be required to cover 24/7 operations.
