Metallic Coating Engineer, EDP

Mission

The primary goal is developing metallic coatings for the MIURA 5 rocket engines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select optimal procedures for each process.
• Define process parameters and create documentation.
• Establish controls and tests; analyze data and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with raw material and equipment suppliers.

Necessary Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Materials.
• Relevant work experience may allow for other academic backgrounds.

Desired Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in electroplating for non-ferrous metals.
• Knowledge of electrochemical chemistry, process optimization, and characterization techniques.
• Experience with ERP, LIMS, and standards like ISO, ASTM, ECSS, MIL, NACE.
• Experience in the aerospace sector, surface treatments, and CAD software.
• Certifications such as FROSIO or NACE are advantageous.
