Mission
The primary goal is developing metallic coatings for the MIURA 5 rocket engines.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select optimal procedures for each process.
- Define process parameters and create documentation.
- Establish controls and tests; analyze data and implement improvements.
- Coordinate with raw material and equipment suppliers.
Necessary Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Materials.
- Relevant work experience may allow for other academic backgrounds.
Desired Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in electroplating for non-ferrous metals.
- Knowledge of electrochemical chemistry, process optimization, and characterization techniques.
- Experience with ERP, LIMS, and standards like ISO, ASTM, ECSS, MIL, NACE.
- Experience in the aerospace sector, surface treatments, and CAD software.
- Certifications such as FROSIO or NACE are advantageous.
