Please note that relocation to Latin American countries is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain technology strategy and communicate it to partners and investors
2. Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely
3. Research, analyze, design, propose, and support the delivery of solutions appropriate for the business and technology strategies
4. Set goals that help meet the organization’s needs, set a high standard for success, and draw on the strength of team managers
5. Build a technology leadership team that can manage their own teams, develop a strong and focused culture, and respond to the organization’s needs
6. Resolve conflicts between timeline, budget, and scope independently but escalate complex issues to the board as needed
7. Incorporate testing and ensure reliability as part of delivering working software
8. Establish strong working relationships and build trust with peers, including teams representing business / clients such as Product, Sales Engineers, Client Support, etc.

Qualifications and skills

1. 10+ years of experience leading and succeeding in the tech industry
2. Over 8 years of app development and technology delivery experience
3. Over 3 years of management and / or leadership experience
4. Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills, with a track record of coaching and mentorship
5. Strong communication skills to confidently present a technology vision that motivates others internally and externally
6. Understanding of budgets and business planning
7. Professionalism and strategic, creative thinking

Requirements

• Experience with multiple programming paradigms
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles, DDD, and architectural design patterns
• Ability to design and architect maintainable and scalable technical systems
• Deep understanding of Data Engineering technologies
• Experience with release systems and CI / CD
• Knowledge of MarTech & AdTech industries
• Willingness to work in a startup environment
