Introduction

Artelier has an exciting opportunity for a hybrid role combining Sales / Marketing Coordinator and Art Consultant. Artelier is a leading Art Consultancy and Curatorial Services company with headquarters in Bristol, UK, and an office in Granada, Spain. Operating internationally across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, our projects include public art/exhibitions, artist estate services, private residences, yachts/aviation, corporate collections, and high-end hotels. We are a small, passionate, and dedicated team of over 12 professionals.

The role involves two core areas: marketing and art consultancy, which may operate independently or intersect. We seek a talented individual with a proven marketing background, a passion for contemporary and modern art, and a strategic mindset.

Criteria: Education & Experience

  • Degree or Master's in marketing, business, arts (Fine Art, Art History, Design), or English.
  • Minimum two years of post-graduate experience in successful marketing strategies.
  • Specialist knowledge in SEO and current digital marketing developments.
  • Proven ability to produce engaging marketing content and articles.
  • Experience with website and social media design, including Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Deep passion for modern and contemporary art, supported by professional experience.
  • Ability to write academically rigorous and relevant art and design essays/critiques.

Job Requirements

  • Integrate art knowledge into effective marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement SEO and online presence strategies.
  • Create sophisticated, SEO-structured art and design-related content.
  • Manage online platforms, especially Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Enhance LinkedIn marketing through video posts, articles, and strategic opportunities.
  • Research and innovate in SEO, social media, and online marketing fields.
  • Identify and develop new marketing opportunities.
  • Research and pursue new leads and contacts in the industry, supporting sales activities.

Role Outline – General

As a small team, you may also handle administrative tasks supporting the wider team.

Job Responsibilities – Art Consultant

  • Stay updated on art market trends, identify new talent, and approach research-led methods.
  • Assist with contextual research and artistic direction for projects.
  • Create content for websites, brochures, and presentations.
  • Use design software like InDesign and Photoshop for client documents and presentations.
  • Support artist estate projects with cataloging and management.
  • Research artistic mediums, techniques, and materials.
  • Expand knowledge of art history, movements, and contextualization of work.
