The Role

Location : While this position is posted in a specific location, all Oyster roles are fully remote. You can work from home, forever. To meet business needs, this role requires you to be based within UTC -5 to UTC +1.

We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join our growing creative team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping Oyster’s brand identity, driving creative excellence across projects, and ensuring consistency in communication. Your work will include enablement, digital ads, email visuals, partner marketing, event assets, and community / customer advocacy materials.

This role requires a deep understanding of brand design, digital marketing strategies, and creating scalable visual systems. From concept to execution, you will ensure every touchpoint aligns with our brand strategy, resonates with our audience, and drives engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead conceptualization, design, and execution of creative assets across digital channels, ensuring alignment with Oyster’s brand identity and goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to deliver impactful visuals supporting campaigns and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement scalable visual design systems for consistency and efficiency.
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors to manage creative projects and uphold standards.
  • Provide thought leadership in campaign visual design, offering recommendations for engagement and storytelling.
  • Mentor and inspire contractors, fostering a culture of creativity and growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas to elevate our creative output.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in brand design with a strong portfolio of digital and traditional media work.
  • Experience developing creative assets for campaigns, events, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Expertise in creating and scaling visual design systems for brand consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant tools; video design experience is a plus.
  • A passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, aligning assets with audience insights and goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or equivalent experience.
