At ING, we are looking for a VP Transaction Services Sales Trade Consultant Iberia.
Your role and work environment :
We seek a talented and enthusiastic professional to join our Transaction Services (TS) Team of Wholesale Banking Spain & Portugal.
The team collaborates with large corporates to offer TS solutions such as Working Capital Solutions (WCS), Trade Financial Services (TFS), and Payments and Cash Management (PCM).
Your key responsibilities :
As a Transaction Services Sales Consultant Iberia, focusing on Working Capital Solutions, you will grow the Daily Banking business and increase profitability by originating new TS mandates within the Wholesale Banking client portfolio in Spain and Portugal.
You will sell the full suite of TS Trade solutions, with a focus on WCS products like Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance (SCF).
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating new TS share of wallet deals with existing and new clients, especially on WCS products.
- Meeting revenue targets and ensuring client profitability within ING's risk framework.
- Collaborating on business strategy and commercial plans for SCF and Receivables Finance in Iberia.
- Managing complex transactions from pre-lead to proposal process.
- Supporting structuring and execution of mandates with colleagues from Amsterdam/Brussels.
- Ensuring the sales process's completeness and accuracy, including presentations and legal documentation.
- Negotiating solutions and pricing with clients, balancing expectations and risk appetite.
Customer relationship management :
- Maximizing cross-buy of TS solutions.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring existing portfolios in consultation with risk management.
- Operating within KYC guidelines.
Knowledge Management :
- Contributing to the development of new solutions.
- Attending client events and staying informed on industry trends.
- Maintaining high knowledge of industry and TS products, especially Trade products.
Candidate profile :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with SCF and Receivables Finance products.
- Knowledge of Trade Finance products and Inventory financing is valued.
