We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our software engineering team. In this role, you will proactively drive the quality of our mobile applications and their back-end systems through manual and automated testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure our products meet our standards for reliability, performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities include :

  • Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications and their back-end services, covering manual, automated, and compatibility testing.
  • Identify and track bugs, regressions, and inconsistencies, working with development teams and product owners to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Design and conduct performance, API, and back-end testing, including database validation using SQL.
  • Participate in agile development processes, contributing to refinement sessions, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, share insights, and improve testing practices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with test automation tools, mobile technologies, and QA methodologies.

Who are you?

  • Proven experience in manual and automated testing, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CI tools and pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and device farms.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting.
  • Proficiency with test automation tools like Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of API testing, QA methodologies, bug tracking (JIRA), and version control (Git).
  • Fast learner, adaptable, and eager to improve continuously.
  • Experience in performance and security testing is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
