Associate Director Scientific Affairs

JCW is currently partnering with a Commercial Bank based in Los Angeles who is looking to bring on a new BSA Officer to their team. Reporting to the CFO, this role would be responsible for leading the bank's BSA / AML program.

Job Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and implement financial crimes policies and procedures for the bank.
• Assist with risk assessments to evaluate compliance risks for the bank.
• Provide training for bank employees on BSA, AML, and other Compliance policies.
• Remain abreast of any regulatory changes, how those changes may impact the bank, and best practices to adjust to regulatory changes.

Job Requirements

• Relevant certifications like CAMS or CRCM are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of BSA / AML experience and prior exposure to regulatory compliance responsibilities.
