Where will you work?

Our client is a US-listed global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, with over a century of history and a strong presence across Europe. The company is currently scaling its operations and modernizing its financial systems through a large-scale ERP transformation.

What will you do?

As Corporate Accountant, your daily functions will be :

  • Managing the end-to-end Fixed Assets accounting process across all European sites, including additions, disposals, transfers, and monthly depreciation.
  • Ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
  • Leading monthly and annual close activities and preparing balance sheet reconciliations, including CWIP and fixed asset reports.
  • Overseeing the accounting of several holding entities, including journal preparation, intercompany loan schedules, and financial reporting.
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes and contributing to SOX compliance.
  • Collaborating on the ERP transition project (Oracle) and driving automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Acting as a finance point of contact for cross-functional projects and business stakeholders.
  • Providing backup support for the Senior Financial Accountant based in the Netherlands.

Who are we looking for?

You're the perfect match if you have :

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting within a medium to large organization
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting, including CWIP, depreciation, and ledger reconciliation
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX environments
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); other European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to occasionally travel within Europe (~5%)
