Market Manager (Head of Events & Tradeshow) - Position Overview

Join our global marketing team as the Market Manager (Head of Events & Tradeshow). Reporting directly to the CMO, you will design, lead, and execute a variety of events, both externally with our partners and internally for staff, including managing Dida's worldwide tradeshow presence. We seek creative professionals with proven experience in developing and executing high-quality events that enhance attendee experience and company perception.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a global event strategy aligned with Dida’s objectives.
2. Manage all aspects of event logistics: venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and timelines.
3. Oversee large-scale B2B events such as conferences, trade shows, roadshows, and partner summits across multiple regions.
4. Create and manage sponsorship programs in collaboration with commercial teams.

Attendee Experience & Engagement

1. Design attendee journeys to maximize engagement and satisfaction.
2. Coordinate registration, ticketing, and event platform integration.
3. Ensure high-quality content delivery, including speaker coordination and interactive sessions.

Logistics & Operations

1. Lead on-site event execution: setup, staffing, A/V, catering, transportation.
2. Manage relationships with venues, suppliers, and exhibitors.
3. Oversee event technology such as virtual/hybrid platforms and lead retrieval systems.

Marketing & Promotion

1. Partner with marketing teams to promote events and manage post-event follow-up.
2. Develop branding, signage, and promotional materials consistent with Dida’s identity.
3. Utilize social media, email campaigns, and partnerships to increase reach.

Budget & Performance Metrics

1. Monitor event budgets to ensure cost efficiency and ROI.
2. Measure success through KPIs like attendance, engagement, leads, and satisfaction surveys.
3. Prepare post-event reports for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

1. At least 5 years of experience in event management, preferably in B2B travel, tech, or hospitality.
2. Proven track record with large, multi-day events (>500 attendees).
3. Strong project management skills with multitasking ability.
4. Fluent in English; additional languages (Mandarin) are a plus.
5. Expertise in logistics, vendor management, and attendee experience design.
6. Experience with virtual/hybrid event platforms.
7. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
8. Willingness to travel internationally regularly.
