We are seeking candidates for the position of Expert Engineer in Siderurgy (Steel Mill). The Expert Engineer in Siderurgy oversees the design, development, and optimization of steel production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Design and Optimization : Develop and optimize steel production processes, including smelting, refining, and casting.
  • Project Management : Lead projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
  • Technical Expertise : Provide insights on metallurgical processes, thermodynamics, kinetics, material properties, heat, and material balances.
  • Quality Control : Implement and monitor quality standards in steel production.
  • Safety and Compliance : Ensure operations adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Training and Mentorship : Mentor junior engineers and provide training on advanced siderurgical techniques.

Qualifications and Desired Attributes

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • Experience : At least 10 years in siderurgy or related fields, with proven leadership in conceptual studies, basic engineering, or FEED activities.
  • Skills : Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, process simulation software, and quality control methodologies.
  • Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in metallurgical software and process analysis tools.
  • Innovative Thinking : Ability to develop new methods to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Leadership : Proven success in leading projects and teams.
  • Communication : Excellent skills to interact with staff, clients, and international audiences.
